We offer a comprehensive range of driver training services, either remotely or in person, throughout the UK haulage industry.
Our Core Driver Training:
Most drivers who wish to use their LGV or PCV vocational driving licence professionally are required by law to hold a valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification. Both the driver and the operator they work for are risk being fined or receiving other penalties if they don’t hold the qualification when driving commercial vehicles.
Holders of vocational lorry (category C1, C1E, C and CE) and/or bus (category D1, D1E, D and DE) licences are required by the regulations to complete 35 hours of periodic training every 5 years.
Our Driver CPC courses cover a wide range of subjects enabling drivers to improve or add to their existing knowledge and skills, develop professionally and remain safe and legally compliant.
To keep drivers properly up-to-date, we recommend they complete 1 day (7 hours) of training per year so that drivers may be regularly kept up to date.
We deliver the training using a mixture of presentations, videos, discussion and breakout sessions.
We additionally have a 7-hour Vulnerable Road Users module that can be delivered to both PCV and LGV drivers.
All those attending will be provided with a Certificate of Attendance on completion.
Operator Licence Awareness Training (OLAT) courses provide a detailed overview of your legal undertakings as a transport operator. It also covers the systems and best practices that you need to put in place to maintain legal compliance at all times. Our OLAT course are suitable for either goods vehicle or passenger vehicle operators.
The training is for operators, transport managers and other transport staff that wish to refresh or add to their existing knowledge. The course will satisfy the requirements of undertakings for awareness training issued by Traffic Commissioners. It also meets the criteria for M3 Responsible Person training set by FORS.

The courses are suitable for either road haulage or passenger transport CPC holders.
Transport managers who wish to keep themselves up to date on the latest legislative requirements and maintain their Continuous Professional Development. The course will satisfy the requirements of undertakings for refresher training issued by Traffic Commissioners. It also meets the criteria for M3 Responsible Person training set by FORS.

Our Management CPC training courses are designed to enable candidates to pass the CILT(UK) Level 3 Certificate of Professional Competence for Transport Managers exams required to qualify them to act as transport manager for an operator in the road haulage industry. Courses and exams are held at regular dates each year.
Anyone wishing to act as a nominated transport manager for an operator of goods vehicles but also this qualification will benefit other transport staff including supervisors, clerks, etc.
The course is delivered in 30 individual subject modules using trainer led delivery along with PowerPoint presentations and a comprehensive set of student notes as well as subject-specific reference materials supplied during the course and sample exam questions for each module to give candidates the knowledge and techniques required to pass the exams.
The total amount of learning time expected to pass this qualification is 141 hours, 72 of which are guided learning hours provided during the 9-day intensive course. The remaining 69 hours must be achieved by candidates by means of home study.
